I saw this bag at the Kate Spade store in Georgetown this weekend and immediately fell in love.

Some stylish bunnies...

Many a blog has previously posted about this adorable Etsy shop, but I couldn't resist posting myself! Modeled after the lastest runway shows, Fifi Lapin illustrates bunnies to look just like the models. I just purchased this Chloe piece!

My new dress!

I got this dress this weekend at Cusp, the most amazing Georgetown boutique. I wore it to Mary and Paul's wedding in Baltimore (pictures to come soon) and had the most wonderful time!

Advertising gets animated at Broad and High corner

Business First of Columbus - July 13, 2007
by Kevin Kemper
Business First

Orange Barrel Media President Peter Scantland says his firm’s revenue will double when LED ad displays are lit up at Casto’s redevelopment of Broad and High streets.

Beer, groceries, phone service and medical care are the latest commodities that will be marketed in flashing images at the center of downtown Columbus this fall, when a $22 million redevelopment at High and Broad streets is completed. The president of the company putting the advertisements together says it could mark a change in the direction of his company. Peter D. Scantland and his Orange Barrel Media, long known for their enormous wallscape ads that attract the attention of passers-by and raised the ire of government transportation officials, have secured four more sponsors for a series of light-emitting diode, or LED, screens that will adorn the buildings at 2-8 E. Broad St. The advertising effort, designed to bring a Times Square-like look to downtown, will include a mix of news and stock tickers that wrap around the buildings, as well as television and video screens carrying animated advertisements. One of the displays will be set aside for nonprofit and community organizations so they can advertise for free, Scantland said.

Here is what I believe to be the PERFECT alternative to the plastic bag. The Baggu is cute, comes in several colors, is large enough to carry your groceries and it compacts so small it can fit almost anywhere! Click here to purchase and learn more about the Baggu.

Pink Moon Cupcake Bakery

I just came across this article and I'm exstatic! As you may or may not know, I am totally obsessed with cupcakes, and have been hoping for a local cupcake bakery. I plan on visiting the new bakery this weekend so I will let you know my thoughts soon...

Specialty bakery in Powell puts individual touch on cupcakes
Thursday, July 5, 2007

It's a little past 1 p.m., and the Pink Moon Cupcake Bakery in Powell has sold about a dozen of the raspberry margarita. "That's really good for a new flavor," said co-owner Bridget Hadden, who said the place opened just two hours earlier. Whatever variation, the individualized treats are flying off the shelves at the new bakery, 84 W. Olentangy St. "People love cake," said founder and baker, Cinnamon Nuhfer. "And people come in and say they don't want to buy a big cake." No problem at Pink Moon. Cupcakes are the only thing on the menu. Nuhfer said she decided to stick with one thing and do it well. There are no trans fats or preservatives used in the desserts. Nuhfer said she spent four months developing recipes for the standard flavors. She's also working on dairy-, gluten- and sugar-free options.
