Flying high...
Orange Barrel Media is at it again... they recently created a 160 foot wallscape featuring Jessica Davenport, a senior center on the Ohio State women's basketball team, and Greg Oden, a freshman center on the Buckeye men's team. I may be biased, but I think this wallscape is amazing!

The object of my affection...
The Cartier Love Bracelet has been popular since the 1960's, when its designer modeled it after legendary chastity belts, said to have been bolted to wives' waists when their husbands went away--to keep the wives faithful. The Love Bracelet comes with a tiny screwdriver to bolt it onto the wrist, signifying a committed relationship. I'm trying to convince my boyfriend that his and her matching love jewelry is cool ... he's not having it!?

City tour: take 2.
The Mahan Gallery.
I may be biased, but I think the Mahan gallery is the very best gallery in Columbus. Concentrating on contemporary, and modern artwork, they showcase the works of emerging and acclaimed artists each month. Here is my first artist spotlight:
Eugene Constan: The Process of Demolition and Decay
Eugene Constan is a Brooklyn based artist. This collection was influenced by patterns and traces of imagery that emerge through processes of demolition and decay. His works pull beauty out of the commonplace, drawing reference from industrial construction sites.

I miss my big sister.
For those of you, like me, who weren't sure where China was...
My older sister, Danielle, is currently living in Beijing, China with her husband Chris. Having never been apart for more than 3 months, we're now approaching 7 months and it's begining to kill me! Here is a little tribute to her... hopefully I will get to make the trip and visit her :)
