Saturday night we had dinner at Barrio with Matt, Meara, Joe + Martha. Over the course of 3.5 hours we talked, ate + drank A LOT. It was the most wonderful evening (despite the warm oysters + raw shrimp!).

Pete was out of town last week and so i decided to get crafty and decorate our place for Easter...

North Market, Spring Week 1

I love the North Market, and as previously mentioned my family has been going for breakfast every Saturday morning for the past 10 years! The spring is my absolute favorite because each week as it gets warmer the farmer's market in front of the market grows, and there are more and more wonderful treats to purchase! This week was the first week with outside vendors, and while only 2 it made me very excited for the weeks to come!

This weekend is the Short North gallery hop, and if you plan on attending you must stop by The Mahan Gallery to check out Ric Ocasek's debut art exhibition. We had the pleasure of attending the opening party (we got to meet Ric + the BEAUTIFUL Paulina), and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed his work.

Why oh why..

did i think it would be a good idea to cut my own bangs? It started out okay, but then i just kept going! Now i look like a five year old who got a hold of a pair of scissors.

Pizza Tour Stop 2 = Massey's Pizza

Massey's Pizza has been voted Best Pizza in Columbus for the past several years, so expectations were high going in to this dinner. We arrived at the Gahanna location and were the only people in the entire restaurant (not too shocking based on the interior design and lack of ambiance). We ordered 2 large pizzas - 1 sausage, pepperoni + mushroom the other 1/2 veggie, 1/2 4-cheese. The 4-cheese was the favorite, and while the crust and sauce were both tasty the overall pizza was just okay.

1. Overall Pizza taste - 7 points
2. Crust - 8 points
3. Sauce - 8 points
4. Ambiance of restaurant - 3 points
5. Beer/Wine Selection - 7 points

Total Score = 33 Points

i heart sunday mornings..

I am most productive on Sunday mornings. I wake up early (usually thanks to Lucy wanting breakfast) and clean the apartment, grocery shop + do laundry ... i love getting this stuff done early so that i have the rest of the day to go to brunch and hangout with pete :)Lucy helping me with the laundry this morning.

I stumbled across this etsy shop today, and fell in love with this Paperbag High Waisted Mini Skirt (equipped with side pockets) in Equestrian Print. I can't wait to wear it :)

1st Stop on the pizza tour = Dewey's Pizza.

Last night me Maggie + Pete had dinner at Dewey's Pizza in Grandview. It's only been open for a few weeks and was packed! After enjoying a Sierra Nevada at the bar, we were sat at a comfortable table (with bad lighting + too much air conditioning). We ordered 2 small salads to start - the Peppercorn Ranch + Candied grape walnut ... both had very tasty homemade dressing and were reasonably priced at $4.95.

We then had a 17'' Pizza, 1/2 Bronx Bomber + 1/2 Greek Lantern. I had 2 pieces of the Greek Lantern and loved it! The crust was good, and the goat cheese + artichoke + pesto combination was delicious!
