Rent from the runway...

My dear friend Erica told me about this website
and now I'm obsessed! For about 1/8 of the actual cost you can
rent dresses that are right off the runway.
This idea is brilliant to me, because when wedding season arrives
I can't repeat dresses because usually the guests lists are the same!
This way for a small price you can have a new dress for every occasion.

i did it!

I finished the 1/2 marathon in 2 hours + 10 minutes!

It was a rainy morning, and a very difficult course,

but my friends and family still came out to support me!

The months of training were made worth it the second

i crossed the finish line -

i cannot wait to run another one :)

Ready to run...

I'm running the 1/2 marathon tomorrow, and am starting to get a wee bit nervous!
Hopefully the rain holds off, and I make it to the finish line!

Despite the fact that neither Peter or I speak French,
when asking each other yes or no questions we often ask in French.

A little place called zihuatanejo....

At dinner on Saturday I was telling a friend where we were honeymooning,
and he immediately remembered the scene in Shawshank Redemption
where they discuss the place!

Honeymoon in Zihuatanejo!

We started planning our honeymoon a few months ago and were
set on going to Thailand - until a few weeks later when we
found out October is monsoon season in Thailand.
I was discouraged at first, but last night we found The Tides hotel
in Zihuatanejo and fell in love.

Come October, I get to spend 10 days in paradise with my husband ...
the idea literally makes me giddy!

Crazy heart...

Pete and I watched Crazy Heart the other night and it is without a doubt the
best movie I've seen in a VERY long time.
Jeff Bridges has a heart breaking voice.

wedding fur.

October weather in Ohio is always questionable -

last year it was 45 degrees and rainy and
five years ago (on my sisters wedding day) it was 70 and sunny.
so just in case its cold i want to get a vintage fur to wear over my wedding dress.
(i can justify wearing fur when it's vintage).
here is the one I'm currently loving, what do you think?
