Jake + Boo Radley

I think Jake Gyllenhaal is a babe, and I'm in love with puggles (I have one, her name is Lucy!) so you can imagine my delight when I saw these pictures in OK! Magazine this week.

Turk and Taylor.

Turk and Taylor is an up-and-coming design company. Their line of perfectly fitted, hand-dyed organic tees has become the engine for their company. This spring they released their first ready to wear line which is equally as wonderful as their t-shirts! Available at Turkandtaylor.com

I adore these clocks! I love the different animal shapes and the bright cheerful colors. If only I were a bit younger....

I heart Decoupage.

Decoupage is the art of cutting and gluing paper images to surfaces. John Derian, an avid collector of antique fruit, flower and animal prints, hand-paints borders over centuries-old ledgers and letters. He combines all these elements into charmingly eccentric collages, which are reprinted and pieced together in layers under glass accessories. These pictures are from his booth and the New York gift show.

City tour take 5.

Sole Classics is a sneaker boutique located on high St. in the Short North. They carry Adidas, Vans Vault, Puma Lifestyle/Blackstation, Converse by John Varvatos, Umbro by Kim Jones, Creative Recreation, PF Flyers, and more. The store also boasts a hip fun enviroment, where people come to hangout and play foosball. I am a proud owner of a few pairs of their shoes, and also proud to say the owners are two of my good friends!

Happy Friday!

These pictures are from over a year ago, but still bring a smile to my face everytime I see them. Notice in the first picture that Pete is standing behind the bar! Hope you have a lovely weekend!

Woke up, got out of bed...

...chased after my alarm clock? The new alarm clock from Nanda that runs away and hides when you don't wake up. Clocky gives you one chance to get up. But if you snooze, Clocky will jump off of your nightstand and wheel around your room looking for a place to hide. Clocky is kind of like a misbehaving pet, only he will get up at the right time. My boyfriend needs one of these!!

Not your average rabbit.

Nabaztags robot bunny rabbit is ingenious! It can wake you up, give you weather and traffic reports, read y'our e-mails aloud, and check on your stocks. The rabbit can also tell you it's mood ("bloody boring") and assess your week. All you need is a WIFI connection. Thanks to Daily Candy.

Free People.
I've always been a fan of Free People clothing, but have never known about their shoes. I was delighted to find that they are just as adorable and refreshing as the apparel. Here are some of my favorites:

Happy Chinese New Year!

A little belated I realize, but these cupcakes and cookies are too cute not to post. These are in honor of my brother-in-law Chris, who is living in China with my sister, and studying the language and culture.

BoConcept.
How did I not know about BoConcept until now? Often referred to as Ikeas older, more mature brother, BoConcept is Denmarks most global retail furniture chain.
