I heart baking.

This weekend it finally felt like Fall,

and so I decided to celebrate by baking several Fall dishes -
it started on Saturday morning when I baked these for breakfast.
then continued with these on Sunday when we had my family over for brunch,
and finished with pumpkin ravioli for dinner and this for dessert.

The world's laziest dog...

I love Lucy,

My mom raised us to believe in fashion over function
(she is a very wise woman!)
but when it comes to what shoes to pack for Italy I am stumped.

I just found this dress on the J.Crew website
and my heart skipped a beat. It's pretty pricey,
but might be a better option for our rehearsal dinner.

Hello, September!

I am SO excited that it's September!

My mom always tells me not to wish days away,
but I'm so ready for it to be Fall!
Before we know it we will be enjoying the following:

1. Wearing boots, tights + sweater-dresses
2. Eating all things pumpkin
3. Tailgating
4. Going for long runs on cold mornings
5. Cozying up by the fire with Pete + Lucy

I really want one of these...

I have really gotten back into running,
and am up to about 25 miles/week!
I much prefer running outside to the treadmill,
but find it hard to keep track of my time, mileage + calories -
therefore think i need to get myself a Garmin :)


Anyone ever used one?

Honeymoon, take 5...

Somehow planning our honeymoon was the most difficult part of all our wedding planning, and over the past year I have researched and started planning trips in
5 different locations!!

I am glad now however we experienced some issues
because it resulted is us picking... ITALY!

Flights are booked, Hotel Reservations are made,
and come October we will be spending 2 glorious weeks in
Rome, the Amalfi Coast, Florence + Tuscany.

p.s. less then 2 months to go!
