I heart Daily Candy.
Even though Daily Candy is not yet in my city, I love their website, and I especially love their weekly deals! This week was an exceptionally delightful one, offering 40% of Kale handbags!

Let's Say Thanks.
www.LetsSayThanks.com
This webiste, sponsored by Xerox, gives you the opportunity to send a free printed postcard to U.S Soldiers stationed overseas showing your support and appreciation for their service to our country. You can select the design you want for your card, all of which are designed by children from across the U.S. What a wonderful thing to do, especially this time of year!

Tis this season...
These not so traditional Christmas Cards are hilarious... as long as they are given to the right person! These cards, as well as other more g-rated cards are available at www.oplusd.com. O Plus D is an awesome website combining the talents of a husband and wife team. She is a graphic designer, and created these cards, and he designs furniture.

I love...Topo Ranch!
Two young california dreamers, Alex and Eric, started this line of clothing a few years ago. They were inspired by Alex's great great grandfather who many years ago owned a cattle ranch named Topo Ranch. They make high-quality shirts, sweatshirts, and pants for men and women, and are available at www.toporanch.com. The website if also worth checking out because of the cool posts Alex and Eric leave about new bands, artists, restuarants etc.

Can it be?
That two of my favorite things, Uggs and Cupcakes, have come together!
I'll be honest, I think the product of this merger is a little ugly, but I love each of them individually so much that I still like them!

My office Christmas Party.
I've always known my company is a little "different" but found it endearing and that was one of the reasons why I loved it...this however is too much! We were told for our holiday party to bring a wooden spoon, and our slippers, but were given no further instruction... I'm a little nervous!

Dirty Librarian Chains.
Designer Susan Domelsmith ingeniously reworks vintage chains (by knotting, tangling, and draping) with unique materials into jaw-dropping masterpieces. Each creation even has a distinctive name, such as the smartly tasseled Magazine, multilayered Call Number, and simple Journal. The pieces are hand-picked from Domelsmith’s sources (stashes of costume jewelry and secondhand stores), which means everything’s practically an original. So you can pile them on and know that you’re wearing something special.
My boyfriend visited the Factory People store while in Austin, Texas on business and came home with the most beautiful necklace for me! Available for purchase at factorypeople.com

It's Five O'clock Somewhere...
As I sit at my desk counting the minutes until the weekend, I thought I would provide a fun recipe for a holiday cocktail. Enjoy!
Mistletoe Kiss
- 1 1/2 oz Smirnoff Cranberry Twist vodka
- 1 1/2 oz Pineapple Juice
- 1 oz Cream of Coconut
- Maraschino cherries
Mix all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with cherries.
