Happy Friday!
These pictures are from over a year ago, but still bring a smile to my face everytime I see them. Notice in the first picture that Pete is standing behind the bar! Hope you have a lovely weekend!

Woke up, got out of bed...
...chased after my alarm clock? The new alarm clock from Nanda that runs away and hides when you don't wake up. Clocky gives you one chance to get up. But if you snooze, Clocky will jump off of your nightstand and wheel around your room looking for a place to hide. Clocky is kind of like a misbehaving pet, only he will get up at the right time. My boyfriend needs one of these!!

Not your average rabbit.
Nabaztags robot bunny rabbit is ingenious! It can wake you up, give you weather and traffic reports, read y'our e-mails aloud, and check on your stocks. The rabbit can also tell you it's mood ("bloody boring") and assess your week. All you need is a WIFI connection. Thanks to Daily Candy.

Free People.
I've always been a fan of Free People clothing, but have never known about their shoes. I was delighted to find that they are just as adorable and refreshing as the apparel. Here are some of my favorites:

Happy Chinese New Year!
A little belated I realize, but these cupcakes and cookies are too cute not to post. These are in honor of my brother-in-law Chris, who is living in China with my sister, and studying the language and culture.

BoConcept.
How did I not know about BoConcept until now? Often referred to as Ikeas older, more mature brother, BoConcept is Denmarks most global retail furniture chain.

St Martins Lane
St Martins Lane is an utterly original urban hotel that takes the Morgans Hotel Group concept of "Hotel as Theatre" to a new level to provide its guests with a singularly magical, exciting and visceral experience. Situated in Covent Garden, one of the London's most lively districts, this hotel combines warmth, glamour, charm, sophistication and style with a real sense of its setting, in one of Europe’s most cosmopolitan cities.
I have only stayed at one of the Morgans Hotel Group hotels, The Clift in San Francisco, but plan on staying at each of them at somepoint in my life.

My heart hurts.
Why is it that times goes by so incredibly fast when I'm having fun? My sister's visit is now officially over, and I'm terribly sad. We did have a wonderful time, and I even managed to get her and my brother-in-law drunk! (Pictures coming soon!) Only 6 more months and she will be home again.

Best of Columbus 2007
Every year the Columbus Alive runs a reader poll about the best places in Columbus. I voted this year, and while comparing my choices with the winners in yesterdays paper, I found that my opinion was similar to the majority. I think Barcelona is a very romantic restaurant, white-castle is the best late-night eating, and north star cafe has the best vegetarian.

Wanna go for a ride?
I MUST HAVE THIS BICYCLE! I'm not sure how much use I would actually get out of it, but I simply don't care. I'm in love.

Delicate delights!
Amy Bengtson makes this handmade one of a kind jewelry. I love how they are made with such clean design, and each piece is so small and delicate. I want a birdie necklace!

my hair.
My hair is currently brown/red and I dream of going even more red, but I'm not quite sure I'm brave enough! Here are some pictures of the colors I like, let me know what you think!
