Little Marc.
Despite the fact that I can't afford to wear Marc Jacobs clothes, when I have children I want them to wear these adorable Little Marc outfits by Marc Jacobs (or maybe just something similar!).

Oh Lucy....
This weekend was Pete's 29th birthday, and on Friday night I planned a romantic dinner at Alana's to celebrate. As we were getting ready to go, Lucy began to vomit... and unfortunately we immediately knew what this meant. We rescheduled our dinner reservation and headed to the animal hospital. 2.5 hours later we left, without Lucy, who got hooked up to an IV in hopes of flushing out whatever the object she swallowed and was lodged in her stomach. Saturday morning I got a call from the Doctor informing me that Lucy was not able to pass the foreign object and was going to need surgery.
Fast forward to Sunday afternoon -- we were finally able to go get the little pup, who now has 20 staples down her belly... she's so sad and pathetic looking! And to make it even worse, she isn't allowed to run/play or go to doggie daycare for the next 2 weeks! Thankfully I am able to work from home some this week to keep her company!

i want to be Keri Russell pie.
I finally saw the movie Waitress last night, and I have to say it was better then I hoped! I absolutely adored Keri Russell, who plays the main character, and now have the strongest urge to quit my job and open a pie shop!? If you haven't yet seen it you simply must!

Wexner Prize: Spike Lee
When the Levees Broke: A Requiem in Four Acts
Fri, Feb 1 - Fri, Feb 29, 2008
Lee’s eloquently enraged look at New Orleans in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina is epic in scope and intimate in detail. Originally produced as a miniseries for HBO, the project went on to win three prime-time Emmy Awards. As Lee himself says, When the Levees Broke portrays “the struggle for New Orleans by focusing on the profound loss, as well as the indomitable spirit of New Orleaneans."
Screenings @ The Wexner Center run continuously seven days a week, the same hours as our ticket office (Mon-Wed: 9 AM-6 PM; Thu-Fri: 9 AM-8 PM; Sat: 10 AM-8 PM; Sun: 11 AM-6 PM). The Box is located just across from the Wexner Center Store.

Electric Lady Land
On February 2, 2008, the Mahan Gallery will proudly present Electric Lady Land, an exhibit featuring the works of Kime Buzzelli and Liz Markus. The exhibition reflects on the narrative works of both artists, posing questions about the importance of abstraction, definitive cultural standards, and hopeful utopian devices.
The opening night reception and Gallery Hop are Saturday, February 2nd, 6–10pm.

Next Stop on the City Tour: Hausfrau Haven
The Hausfrau Haven has become one of my most favorite places in German Village, and conveniently enough we live right above it! They offer a wide variety of wines, beer, snacks, accessories, gift bags, greeting cards and what I buy most frequently red bull! The owners are also extremely nice and are always willing to help you find exactly what you are looking for.
