Wexner Drive-In Movie....
The Wexner Center Drive-In heads to a new location for this special one-off screening on the Ohio Statehouse grounds.
Bring your chairs or blankets to the Statehouse West Plaza (on the High Street side of the building). Catering by Design, will be providing a cash bar and fresh grilled items for purchase. Just like at the Wexner Center, the actual screening will begin at dusk.
Cary Grant, Jean Arthur, and Ronald Coleman team up in The Talk of The Town, a surprising romantic comedy about justice. Stevens crafts a satisfying and suspenseful film by blending the playfulness of 1930s’ screwball comedies into the socially conscious debates of 1940s’ dramas. Coleman, as a law professor in line for the Supreme Court, and Grant, as an accused arsonist, spar politically and romantically, as both fall for Arthur’s small-town teacher. (118 mins., 35mm)
Cross your fingers that the rain stops because if not this screening will be canceled!!

I heart blueberry ale..
I had my first Blueberry Ale last night and fell in love! The blueberry flavor is strong and it is pretty sweet, but it would be the perfect match for a hot summer night or any bbq. I want more immediately.

My heart hurts...
Erica is heading west today to start her new amazing job in La Jolla, California, and while I know I'm not losing her (we will forever be friends) I can't help but be sad. Her and Conroy have become family to me and Pete and I am so going to miss our dinners, bike rides, gossip sessions + nights at park st.
I love you + can't wait to visit!

Weekend in review:
Friday: Dinner @ Haiku with the Six Pack, drinks at Spice Bar, then more drinks + dancing at Park St. Tavern
Saturday: Hungover, Vespa ride + lunch at Press Grill, Book store = hot chocolate + hours of magazine reading, dinner @ Marcella's then home to bed.
Sunday: Breakfast with Mom + Jonah, Zoombezi Bay for an afternoon of water rides, lazy rivers, funnel cake + beer, cookout at my parents house, then home to watch Mad Men.
The weather was perfect and a wonderful weekend was had by all, but I'm already getting sad thinking about Erica moving next week :(

illumination 8.8.08
When night falls tonight, be one of the first to see Franklin Park Conservatory in an entirely new light. Plan to watch firsthand as renowned award-winning lighting artist James Turrell illuminates the Conservatory’s historic glass Palm House in an inspiring display of light and space.
I can't decide if this is going to make the Conservatory look tacky or cool, but either way I want to go and see the illumination take place tonight! Click here to read more.

Domestic construction
Vintage ceramic or porcelain teacups, acquired from flea markets and thrift stores all over the country, dangle delicately on the end of an 11 foot chord with an attached plug…ready to illuminate any space. Single teacup light too minimalist for your tastes? Don’t worry…domestic construction offers their ted lights in cluster and chandelier form. Ranging from 3-13 exquisite teacups, these bundles of beauty are hardwired and fully prepped for immediate installation in the ceiling. This gives the phrase “tea time” a whole new meaning.
These lamps are lovely, affordable and would jazz up any room!
